Compatible Browsers:
The best browsers to use on a Mac for D2L are the newest versions of Mozilla-Firefox or Safari.
Whether using either browser, you will still need to unblock Pop-Ups when inside D2L for certain tools to work properly, such as Compose and Reply in the D2L Email tool or Discussions. How do I set Pop-Up Blockers.
While we have heard good things about Safari 3.0, as of January 2008 it is still in Beta and we recommend not using it in D2L until Apple has released a production version of Safari.
Preferences
After logging into D2L you can go to the Preferences link located along the left side of the screen. The first page that comes up is the General Tab. At the bottom of this page you should choose the appropriate connection speed and the correct Operating System. If you are using Leopard than choose Mac OS X.
